Real Work, Real Results

Inspiration Rooted in Reality

Every landscape we build is a unique combination of function, artistry, and personal style. Whether we’re installing a stone patio, a specialty garden, or a full property transformation, our work is grounded in smart design and real-world performance.

This gallery showcases projects completed throughout Northfield, Rice County, and the southern Twin Cities metro — including a wide range of styles, materials, and layout solutions. These aren’t stock images or mockups. They’re real projects created by Landscape Gal, designed by Dee Ann Larson, and built by hand.

Why Our Gallery Reflects More Than Just Aesthetics

While the visual impact of a landscape is obvious, we believe the best projects are ones that perform. Each image represents more than plants and stone — it shows a thoughtful solution to drainage, usability, erosion, access, or privacy.

When viewing our gallery, consider:

  • What kind of terrain was involved

  • How elements are integrated (grade, materials, plantings)

  • What problems the layout is solving

  • How the space flows with the home’s architecture

Ask yourself:

  • Do I prefer curved or straight lines?

  • Which materials feel right — natural stone or pavers?

  • Do I want structured beds or loose, natural plantings?

  • Is shade or sun the dominant condition in my yard?

  • What seasonal needs (snow, water, wind) should my design address?
