Design, Build, and Transform

Full-Service Landscape Design & Installation Built to Last

At Landscape Gal, we provide more than just landscaping — we deliver custom outdoor environments designed to improve the way you live. Our landscape services go far beyond planting shrubs or laying pavers. We specialize in landscapes that solve site challenges, enhance property value, and create places of beauty and function.

Led by Dee Ann Larson, a MNLA Certified Landscape Professional, our team brings over 40 years of hands-on experience in Minnesota horticulture, design, grading, and construction. Every project is personally overseen by Dee, from the first design sketch to the final stone laid.

Serving Northfield, Rice County, and the southern Twin Cities metro, we build landscapes that thrive — visually, structurally, and environmentally.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you provide full design and installation, or just one or the other?

We are a full-service design-build company. While most of our work is design + installation, we occasionally accept design-only work depending on project goals and timing.

  • What types of materials do you use for patios and walls?

We work with natural stone, high-quality pavers, boulders, and manufactured block — all selected for strength, style, and compatibility with your site conditions.

  • Can you help with water drainage issues in my yard?

Yes. Drainage and grading are core parts of our service. We can regrade, install rain gardens, or design retaining systems to manage water correctly.

  • How do you build landscapes that last in Minnesota’s weather?

We account for freeze-thaw cycles, slope, soil type, and water flow. Everything from plant selection to base prep is tailored to withstand Midwest conditions.

  • Do you offer garden maintenance services?

While we are not a weekly maintenance company, we do offer seasonal touch-ups, mulch refreshes, and planting updates for previous projects.
